A Post-Medieval copper alloy coin from India, probably the denomination called a paisa, probably dating to AD 1790-1830. A close parallel seems to be SWYOR-B55B81, "a Paisa of Gwalior State, Gwalior Fort mint, struck in the name of the Mughal Emperor Muhammad Akbar II, during the reign of Maharaja Daulat Rao Scindia (1796-1825)". It is common to find Indian coins in Britain, probably because they were brought here by people serving in the colonial Empire in India.

Probably a Late Medieval Venetian silver soldino probably of Doge Agostin Barbarigo (1486-1501). Late type (LAVS TIBI SOLI reverse type). The soldino was known as the galyhalpens (galley-halfpence) as it was brought by the annual Venetian trading fleets. The soldino was about the size of English halfpennies and was popular because of a contemporary lack of small change: soldini in fact occur as English finds more often than proper halfpennies of the period.
