A probably Medieval copper alloy single looped buckle, probably dating to c. AD 1100-1250. The frame is D-shaped and internally beveled, with a thick convex outer edge. This is decorated with alternating thick and narrow raised ribs, the latter having transverse grooves to create a corded effect. The bar is recessed and circular in cross-section; the pin has been lost.
Length: 35.8mm; width: 24.4mm; thickness: 7.7mm; weight: 16.73g.

A small medieval copper alloy annular buckle, probably dating to c. AD 1200-1400. The frame is broadly circular in plan, although with a very slightly offset bar showing sings of wear from the copper alloy sheet pin. The pin survives, but has been displaced around the frame. The frame is sub-circular in cross section.
Dimensions: length 12.9mm; width 14.4mm; thickness 4.1mm; weight 1.15g.
