A clipped medieval silver penny of Edward III (1327-1377). Fourth coinage, Pre-Treaty Period, Pre-Treaty Series D-G, Treaty or Post-Treaty Period, dating to 1352-1377. Mint of York. North (1975, 38-46). Slightly bent, the coin measures 19.5mm in diameter, 0.4mm in thickness and weighs 0.92g. There is a small crack at the circumference.
