A silver halfpenny of Edward I. This coin is very worn in places, making exact identification difficult; however, it appears to be a Withers Class 2 (probably 2b) coin from the Berwick-Upon-Tweed mint, struck 1296-1298. It measures 14.9mm in diameter, 0.3mm thick and weighs 0.69g.
