Post Medieval - Modern cast lead two disc cloth seal. The disks sit one on top of the other and are joined by a tab. One had a hole in the centre and the other a projecting point which has been pushed through the hole and then stamped flat to fix them together. The tab is mostly missing from old breaks. The stamp has the initials R.W. The discs are bent and at most 27.4mm in diameter, 3.7mm thick and it weighs 14.22 grams. The simplcity of the design of initials rather than a privy mark suggests a later date, 17th-18th century (cf Egan p.84, no.234, 236 and p.86, no.242)

Post medieval lead cloth seal, issued during the reign of Queen Anne. Part of a four-disc seal from the series featuring a monarch's head. It is comprised of four discs in two conjoined pairs, joined in the centre with a rectangular tab. The seal is bent in the centre at the tab so the pairs of disks are back to back. A projecting tab on the back of one outer disk has been pushed through a hole in the other outer disk and stamped flat, joining them. A Post-Medieval lead cloth seal, probably dating to c. AD 1550-1800. The seal is incomplete, with only the integral rivet and an adjoining section of the disc from which it expands surviving. The surviving section of the disc depicts a design of an eagle or perhaps more likely, a griffin, advancing left, right foot in front with each talon terminating in a pellet. A fragment of a Post-Medieval lead cloth seal, probably dating from the 17th century. The fragment consists of approximately 25-30 per cent of two discs pressed together. It has worn breaks almost all the way around it's edge. About 10 per cent of the edge is not broken and is part of the original edge of the seal.
