An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman brooch of Headstud type, c. 2nd century AD. All that remains is most of the headloop, the point where the headloop was attached to the wings and the start of the top of the bow, including the headstud. Just below the headloop are two incised lines in saltire; directly below is the raised circular headstud with recessed central circle; the beginnings of a second incised saltire are positioned directly below. The break in the brooch occurs in the middle of the second incised saltire, resulting in the loss of the lower two-thirds of the brooch body …

One half, the hook part, of a 17th century cast copper alloy clothes fastener. The hook is a wide flat strip with a curved end bent forward 180 degrees, the tip of which is missing. The hook is attached to one end of an oval plate. The central area of the plate has a raised floral design within a triple line border. The hook is flanked by two circular attachment holes one on either sid and there is another single attachment hole at the opposite end, flanked by rounded knops. Medieval or Post Medieval cast copper-alloy double loop buckle with plain undecorated oval loops and narrowed strap bar. The object is 25mm in length and 23mm at its widest point. It weighs 3.26g. A similar buckle is illustrated in Whitehead (2003:54, no.310) which he dates to circa 1500-1650 AD.

Post Medieval cast copper alloy double looped buckle with oval expansions at the centre of each loop with moulded rosettes on the front and lobed knops at the end of the narrowed strap bar. There are significant remains of a wrought iron pin on one loop and on the strap bar. It is 44 mm long, 31.7mm wide and weights 9.08 grams. Whitehead (2003) p.66, no.408 which he dates to c.1550-1650 AD.
