Post Medieval cast, copper alloy double-looped buckle. The pin survives in part and is a copper alloy strip bent around the strap bar, broken towards the tip which is now lost. The loops of the frame are sub oval and the strap bar is recessed. It measures 35.8mm in length, 25.9mm in width and 3.4mm in thickness. It weighs 6.7g. Whitehead (2003; 305), number 305, is a similar example, dated 1500-1650 AD.

Incomplete Post Medieval cast, copper alloy trapezoidal buckle. The frame widens from the strap bar forming a trapezoidal shape. There are rounded knops on the corners and the middle of the outer edge widens into a The buckle is broken to one side of the strap bar so that only one of the original two loops survives. The outer edge has rounded knops with a rounded triangular projection between. The strap bar has a lobed knop at either end. It measures 24.4mm in length, 21.1mm in width and 2.1mm in thickness. Post Medieval cast, copper alloy oval buckle with surviving chape and pin. The frame is drilled and the strap bar is separate, although survives in situ on this example. The buckle frame has moulded decoration; raised vertical lines crossed with diagonal lines either end of the strap bar with scroll work to the sides. The chape is 'D-shaped' with the centre of the curve projecting into an elongated knop which has a raised stud at the end. It is a Whitehead (2003; 96) type I. Post Medieval fragment of a copper alloy cast leg from a cooking vessel. The fragment is 'D'-shaped in section with a notched curved outer edge created by five ribs that run down the front. It measures 57.3mm in length, 46.6mm in width, 23.6mm in thickness and weighs 86.82g. Butler, Green and Booth (2003; 4) suggests that legs such as these were widespread by the 17th century.

Post Medieval cast, copper ally double-looped buckle. The frame is a pointed oval in plan with open work detail. The frame widens on the outer edge to form the pointed oval. Within the centre of the widest point of the frame is an openwork lozenge. The strap bar is recessed and there is a probable openwork drop shape at either end although it is difficult to tell due to the amount of dirt remaining on this example. A circular cast lead alloy weight of uncertain date with a trapezoidal cross section. A 'D' is stamped on one face and there is an incised line on the other. It is 23.8mm in diametre, 6.6mm in thicknes and weighs 27.82g. 0.98 ounces. Plain weights were cast locally in lead from the Roman period onwards for a wide variety of uses and are hard to date precisely. This example is about an ounce in the avoirdupois system in use since the Medieval period suggesting a late Medieval - Post Medieval date.

Two circular cast lead alloy disc weights of uncertain date. Both weights have an incised cross with smaller diagonal lines projecting the same direction from each arm on one face, possibly representing windmill sails and an incised 'V' on the other. 1) 30.6mm in diameter, 3.9mm in thickness and 18.27g, 2) 28.6mm in diameter, 2.9mm in thickness and 13.44g. Weights sych as these were cast locally in lead from the Roman period onwards for a wide variety of uses and are hard to date precisely although most are late Medieval - Post Medieval

A cast copper alloy leg from a Medieval to Post Medieval vessel. The leg appears trapezoid shaped in cross section with a flat front and rounded back. The leg terminates in an outward facing foot. The front of the leg has a raised central rib running down the lengh. It measures 86.1mm in length, 52.9mm in width and 25.0mm in thickness. Butler, Green and Payne (2009, pg 4) do not record an example identical to this but it is perhaps most similar to their Type 'a' which was widespread in the Medieval period with examples known into the early 17th century.

Medieval copper alloy buckle with integral plate. The frame is rectangular with a rounded collar on one side from which the integral plate projects. The plate is rectangular in plan and widens slightly in the centre. There is a circular hole in the centre of the collar where it meets the frame. This is likely to have been for a rivet. The pin is missing. It measures 32.9mm in length, 12.6mm in width, 5.2mm in thickness and weighs 3.11g. Whitehead (2003; 34) illustrates a similar example with a more rounded frame in number 193.

Medieval lead alloy spoon knop and part of the stem. The bowl is missing and the stem broken across the width. The stem is bent at the break. The stem has three raised concentric bands around the base of the knop which flares out to a central line before tapering back to the width of the stem which terminates in a rounded knop. It measures 46.5mm in length, 10.3mm in width and 6.9mm in thickness. The knop is a possible proto-acorn style and possibly a variation of a Homer type 'f' which is dated to the 14th Century.

A probable lead alloy fragment of a Post Medieval to Modern toy gun. The object is triangular in plan with curving sides and a flattened point. The point end is closed but the opposite end is open and was probably attached to the wooden section of the toy gun. Both faces have moulded decoration showing what appears to be leaves and/or flowers within a border of raised lines. There is a lobed knop projecting down from one of the sides. It is likely to be the butt from a toy gun. It measures 52.4mm in length, 26.7mm in width, 11.8mm in thickness and weighs 30.4g.
