A complete circular flat mount, possibly originally a coin with two holes pierced in it. T
The mount is made of a flat (c. 0.9mm thick) plate that is circular in plan (15.2mm diameter). While completely worn with no design the size suggests a Roman coin. It is pierced near two opposite sides from its outside surface through to the back by circular holes (c. 1.5mm diameter). within these holes are the remains of two iron rivets. that project c.0.7mm from the reverse of the mount. Each ends in a worn and broken ends.

A cast copper-alloy mount of uncertain date. The piece is flat and sub-oval in plan with an oval shape missing one end where there is a straight edge which may be complete or an old break. The front is decorated by a central dot with a large incised circle around it. Between this circle and the edge are three circular perforations for attachment. They are arranged in a triangle and the arrangement suggests the straight edge was not attached to an object in the same way as the opposite end.
