A Post-medieval silver halfgroat of Charles I (AD 1625-1649), dating to AD 1634-1635. Group D, initial mark probably bell, London mint. North (1991:162) no. 2258. The coin has been pierced from the obverse at 9 o'clock on obverse and 6 o'clock on reverse, half way between the edge and centre.
