The handle of a copper alloy (latten) Post Medieval spoon dating to the period c.AD 1550-1650. The handle ends in a seal top knop. The knop starts with a flat circular disk which tapers down to two simple balls with a moulded collar beneath. The surface of the disc is worn and has no evidence of pecked initials remaining. The knop is integral with the oval cross sectioned handle. The handle is bent and terminates in a worn break at the point where it would have attached to the bowl, now missing. A post medieval clay tobacco pipe dating to the period c AD1680 to 1720. Most of the bowl is missing but the heel is stamped with the makers mark: WILL/ PITCH/ER in three lines within a pellet circle. The stem is broken at an old break. The pipe measures 51.3mm in length, 14.7 in width and weighs 6.37g. William Pitcher is listed as a maker from Beaminster in Dorset active c.1700 (Oswald 1975 p167). An incomplete cast lead alloy (pewter) spoon dating to the 17th century. The fragment comprises of the bowl and the beginning of the stem, the rest has been lost along with the knop. The bowl is a fig-shaped form with a rounded lower edge and sides and a top narrowing to the junction with the stem, Homer (1975:22) type 'b'. The edge of the bowl is damaged with small breaks along one side and the front and back surfaces are worn and pitted. Post medieval cast lead four-disc cloth seal issued at Taunton. The seal has four disks arranged in two conjoined pairs with a tab between. It has been bent back on itself at the tab so the pairs of disks lie up. The two inner disks are stamped. One is stamped with a portcullis, the edge of this disk is bent over on itself obscuring some of the design. The handle is in the form of a birds leg ending in a three toes foot, measuring 21.6mm in length, with the middle toe larger and curved backwards in a claw ending in a point. A post medieval to modern copper alloy finger ring. The ring has eight panels each of which is decorated with the same pattern. This gives it a faceted, octagonal outline with a circular centre. This is a raised pattern on a recessed field and comprises a central quatrefoil surrounded by pellets and in each corner is a trefoil within lobes. Incised vertical lines separate the panels. There is no visible makers mark. The ring measures 19.69 in diameter 6.9mm wide and 1.9mm thick, and weighs 19.69g. The form and decoration suggests a 17th to 19th century date.

Part of a copper alloy Post Medieval trapezoidal buckle dating to cAD1620 - 1680. Only one loop of the double loop buckle remains. The outer edge is expanded into a triangle in the centre, flanked by points at each corner. On the front of the outside edge there is an incised line running from top to bottom. The front has traces of a silvery sheen but the back is plain. The buckle measures 17.46mm in length, 11.90mm in width and weighs 1.26g. The cap has been crushed, with the sides squashed closely together. The remains of two attachment loops survive at the top of the cap, one on either side. The leg terminates in a very worn foot, almost oval now in cross section and rounded at the slightly widened base, separated from the leg by a raised transverse collar.
