A complete Post Medieval silver gilt dress pin with hollow-cast spherical head, c. 16th century AD. The pin has been drawn from a thick silver wire 2.40 mm in diameter and the shaft measures approximately 72 mm long (including the section through the head) with a 90-degree bend about one third of the length up from the point. Such bends are a common feature of these pins and it appears to be purposeful, perhaps due to use. The pin tapers gradually to a point at one end and ends flat at the other. The flat end seems to have been pushed through and soldered into a highly-decorative head…

The coin has a worn piercing from the reverse to the obverse near the edge and probably originally circular, at 1 o'clock ont he obverse and 6 o'clock on the reverse. The top and and bottom edges have been bent forward and back to give an S-shaped profile, common on modified coins of this period.

A Post-medieval silver-gilt dress-hook, complete except for the end part of the hook. It has a trefoil-shaped back plate with cusped edges cut from a single sheet of silver, onto which is soldered a separate silver recurving hook that tapers to a point. Soldered onto the front are three hemispherical bosses, with punched decoration visible around the edges of the plate. The bosses have applied filigree and granulated ornament consisting of two rope-twist circlets separated by filigree annulets and several small knops. An incomplete small silver spoon dating to the post-medieval period. The remaining portion comprises the bowl and adjoining length of handle; any terminal knop to the handle is missing to an old, patinated break.
The bowl is an elongated oval with a rounded outer edge, which appears distorted and possibly worn.
