An incomplete Post-Medieval copper alloy spoon, probably dating to the late 17th or 18th century. The surviving fragment comprises of the end of the spoon's handle. This is broadly piriform in shape, tapering from 12.9mm wide at its rounded shoulders to 4.1mm, where it terminates in a worn break. In profile the top edge of one face of the handle thickens pronouncedly above the widest point of the shoulders, from 1.4mm to 3.8mm, creating a lip with a concave curve below it.
