Post Medieval copper alloy jetton issued by Cornelius Lauffer (master 1656-1711), English style Charles I type, minted at Nuremberg, AD 1660-1685, Mitchiner (1988:501) no.1781.
The jetton is slightly bent and has been pierced near the edge with a circular hole punched through from the obverse side at around 3 o'clock on the obverse and reverse.

A Post-Medieval copper alloy Nuremberg Jetton, of uncertain issuer, dating to c. AD 1550-1660. A rose/orb style jetton, the token is extremely thin and worn, and appears to be a later issue of a named individual based on the size of the orb and style of crown.

A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy Jetton of Hans Krauwinckel II (master 1586-1635). Barnard pl. 32 no. 61 (referenced in Mitchiner 1988, p. 460).
Obverse: MORS VLTIMA; Death (in the form of a skeleton) standing behind a rich lady, to her left a flower in bloom, to his right a wilting flower
Reverse: EST ARBORI SPES: SI PRAECISA FVERIT RVRSVM VIRESCIT; HK in exergue; Tree
Diameter: 27.5mm. Weight: 3.01g. DA=12:12.
Mitchiner suggests it may be related to a biblical series issued in the 1590's.

A worn and corroded 16th-century copper-alloy post-medieval anonymous Nuremberg jetton of the 'Rose / orb' type with fictitious legend. About 10% of the circumference has been cut straight and there is a small crack to one side of the cut. Similar examples with a wide range of fictitious legends can be found illustrated in Mitchiner (1988, 382-383) where they are dated to the first half of the 16th century.
