There is a three-pronged crown design on each side between these open circles, with a central circular hole between for decoration. A lead token of Post-Medieval date. Weight 57.01g (0.1257pounds or 2.0110 ounces), diameter 33.21mm, thickness 7.61mm. The upper surface of the artefact is decorated with a raised symbol, possibly two letters joined together which could be CH or more likely HD. It seems that the symbol was a HD, where the vertical of the 'D' was also the right-hand vertical of the 'H' however it must be noted that the lower part of the letters, if this is what they are, have been worn or scraped away leaving just a faint mark visible today. These tokens were usually locally made with no references a…

The miniature belt buckle is at one end of the hoop, and the belt strap runs through the buckle with two circular knops, one representing the pin, and a transverse ridge, like a miniature belt stud, on this end of the strap. This end of the strap then sits proud of the rest of the hoop, about 2 mm above it; the bare end of the strap then overlaps the round at a slight angle. The fitting has a flat oval body with a tapered hook folded under at one end and a broken attachment loop at the other end. The oval plate has ferrous corrosion in the centre of the upper surface and along the base of the underside which probably is probably the remains of an iron rivet. There is no discernible surface decoration. The hook possibly formed part of a sword belt and rough parallels can be found in 'Hooked Clasps & Eyes' by Brian Read, p.222.
