A cast copper alloy toggle clasp, dating to the 16th / 17th century. The mount is triangular in form with two open circles cut out from each long side at the top and bottom. There is a three-pronged crown design on each side between these open circles, with a central circular hole between for decoration. There is one rivet hole towards the base of the clasp that retains an iron rivet, the base is crenellated while the peak has a rounded knop which would have slotted into a clasp attachment, now missing.

A square trader's token issued by William Burges of Buckinghamshire in (AD) 1670. The token depicts a turbaned man pouring coffee, flanked by the date, 1670. The reverse has five lines of Script: William / Burges in / Aili[] / his half / Peny. Other 17th century square tokens often held the value of a halfpenny. A fragment of a cast copper alloy strap fitting for a sword belt, dating to the Post-Medieval period. The fragment consists of the lower part of a shield-shaped plate with concaved sides and a rounded base with the stub of a hook projecting from the centre. The front face of the plate is decorated with a symmetrical foliage design in moulded relief. The design vaguely resembles leaves of the vine. The reverse is plain and undecorated. A copper-alloy Nuremberg Rose/Orb jetton of 16th century date. The legends on this piece appear to be nonsensical, suggesting it is an annonymous issue struck between c. 1500 and c. 1550 (see Mitchiner 1988: 377).

The opposite edge has three lobes, each containing a circular-headed rivet on the underside. A lead token of Post-Medieval date. Weight 57.01g (0.1257pounds or 2.0110 ounces), diameter 33.21mm, thickness 7.61mm. The upper surface of the artefact is decorated with a raised symbol, possibly two letters joined together which could be CH or more likely HD. It seems that the symbol was a HD, where the vertical of the 'D' was also the right-hand vertical of the 'H' however it must be noted that the lower part of the letters, if this is what they are, have been worn or scraped away leaving just a faint mark visible today.

The miniature belt buckle is at one end of the hoop, and the belt strap runs through the buckle with two circular knops, one representing the pin, and a transverse ridge, like a miniature belt stud, on this end of the strap. Although seemingly formed of two halves with a seam running around the middle of the barrel part there is presently no movement.

Incomplete cast copper alloy hooked fitting of probable post Medieval date (c.1600-1700). The fitting has a flat oval body with a tapered hook folded under at one end and a broken attachment loop at the other end. The oval plate has ferrous corrosion in the centre of the upper surface and along the base of the underside which probably is probably the remains of an iron rivet. There is no discernible surface decoration. The hook possibly formed part of a sword belt and rough parallels can be found in 'Hooked Clasps & Eyes' by Brian Read, p.222.

The metal appears to have a high tin and or lead content and is silvery in appearance with very rough edges along the breaks.

This is broadly piriform in shape, tapering from 12.9mm wide at its rounded shoulders to 4.1mm, where it terminates in a worn break. In profile the top edge of one face of the handle thickens pronouncedly above the widest point of the shoulders, from 1.4mm to 3.8mm, creating a lip with a concave curve below it. Description
A complete post-Medieval gold finger ring. The ring has a hexagonal bezel, set with a finely faceted garnet which projects from the bezel; convex in profile. Each lateral face of the bezel is decorated with a rectangular facet, with a lower border in slight relief, with a central upwards pointed projection. The underside of the bezel is 'keeled' and faceted, with each bearing a foliate motif left reserved against a niello inlaid field. A copper-alloy Post Medieval hooked clasp sword belt fitting dating to 1500 to 1650. The fitting is the 'eye' and not the 'hook'. The body of the fitting would have been sub-rectangular but has two breaks one in each corner, the piece tapers into the 'eye' loop by a double moulded crescent. The outer face is decorated with two raised, rounded domes (now corroded) placed above the rivets. There are two rivet holes on the reverse both are encrusted with iron corrosion.
