A copper alloy artefact, probably a strap fitting such as a strap union, or perhaps a harness fitting or mount. It probably dates from the Iron Age or Roman period, about 800 BC - AD 100. The object is incomplete, but appears to have been symetrical. It consists of a pair of opposed triangular loops, both springing from a central block. Cast copper alloy handle for a folding knife. The handle is curved, circular in section and tapers from the end which was attached to the knife blade to a blunt point at the other end, with a rounded knop. There is a collar around the other end with a spherical knop projecting from its outer side and two other spherical knops evenly spaced along the outer edge. A solid copper-alloy late Iron Age or Roman head of a sheep, ram or possibly goat from a mount or figurine. The head is cast in three dimensions and is triangular in shape with one horn each side. The head measures 18.7mm in length from the top to the end of the nose; it is 9.8mm thick and 12.4 mm wide at the widest point, 24.7mm wide including the horns. A Late Iron Age cast copper alloy Birdlip type brooch with the pin and the top of the head missing dating from 30 BC to AD 60. there is a unpatinated and seemingly fresh break at the top where the head and pin have been lost. The remaining section of the head is has a rectangular sectioned ridge down the back and a central, prominant, narrow ridge on the front with a curved and angled 'hood' either side. The central hole is slightly off-centre or worn, so one side of the ring is thicker and wider (4.29mm, 4.16mm compared to 3.42mm, and 3.46mm). The ring is undecorated. Upper part of the bow and head of a Late Iron Age cast copper alloy birdlip type brooch. The lower part of the bow, pin, foot and catchplate are missing. It the top of the remaining section the bow is oval with a concave back. This probably formed the trumpet shaped head with a spring held in the concave section, although the attachment is lost. The edges of this oval head are damaged, particularly around the lower edges and it may have been larger originally. An incomplete Iron Age La Tene IBa type brooch dating to the period c.400 - 275 BC. The majority of the brooch survives it missing only its head and integral sprung pin. The brooch is broken at the head with only a small part of the circular cross sectioned wire of the spring remaining running vertically down for c.2mm before arching steeply upwards from the head into the bow. A Late Iron Age/early Roman (AD20-80) copper-alloy Colchester two-piece brooch, incompletein so far as it is missing the elements of its catch-plate, and much of its pin. The wings are short, flat and rectangular. Behind the wings is a hook that curves upwards to retain the axis bar, and, above this, an integral hook curved back on itself to retain the chord. Copper alloy ring. The ring is circular in section. Two transverse grooves are just visible aournd the outside. It has an outer diameter of 17mm and an inner diameter of 11mm. The thickness of the ring ranges from 4mm at its thickest, to 3mm at its thinnest. Although cast copper alloy beads with similar transverse grooves are known from the Bronze Age to Roman periods, the distinct and apparently deliberate difference between the two sides may suggest this is a suspension or harness loop which has been worn through use, rather than an Iron Age bead.

A cast copper-alloy artefact: possibly a toggle of Late Iron Age/early Romano-British date. The piece is of simple construction - it takes the form of a dumbbell with a central waist (5.8mm). The body to each side is faceted with the shape of a square with rounded corners for its cross-section. It is seemingly complete, with flat terminals and no evidence of breaks. The object is very slightly curved in profile. It has a mid-green smooth patina with small patches of lighter corrosion product.
