A Roman or Post-Medieval copper alloy finger-ring with rectangular bezel, the hoop of which is now slightly squashed out of shape. It measures 21.18x15.79mm and would have originally measured c.20.5mm in diameter. It weighs 1.15g. The bezel measures 11.91x4.40x2.49mm and is decorated with two longitudinal ribs with tiny transverse grooves at the highest point. The shoulders are triangular and c.2x2mm, narrowing to 1.27x1.43mm at the back of the hoop, which is rectangular in cross-section.
