A Medieval to Post Medieval biface lead token, dating to AD 1500-1600. Powell, type 10 (heads and bust) and Powell type 14 (heads and bust) on the other. The token is circular in plan. The inverse shows a raised head of an individual facing left wearing a hat, the outer edge of the token is decorated with a pellet border. The token has a raised cross, which is central and does not reach the outer edge, within each quarter of the cross is a raised pellet and the edge has a pellet border. An incomplete cast copper alloy dagger. The dagger is broadly triangular with a straight sides tapering to a rounded point. It is almost flat in cross section, with a defined, thinned edges leaving a low central rib on both faces. At the hilt end the remnant of a flared tang with a semi-circular hole on either side for missing rivets. Both faces have some raised and uneven corrosion products, particularly at the tang end. Description A complete post-Medieval gold finger ring. The ring has a hexagonal bezel, set with a finely faceted garnet which projects from the bezel; convex in profile. Each lateral face of the bezel is decorated with a rectangular facet, with a lower border in slight relief, with a central upwards pointed projection. The underside of the bezel is 'keeled' and faceted, with each bearing a foliate motif left reserved against a niello inlaid field. A fragment of cast copper-alloy knife handle dated c.16th century. The fragment remains as the knife end cap or pommel with only very faint traces of the iron tang around the egde. The object is oval in shape and is decorated with incised parallel lines with a central design of chevrons or Z's between. A cast copper-alloy two-piece strap fitting consisting of a bar mount and a suspension loop dating to c. AD 1350 to1400. The bar mount consists of a rectangular plate from which a narrow rectangular strip projects from the bottom and is bent toward the back surface terminating in a lozenge-shaped end, which has a circular rivet in its centre. Two complete cast copper-alloy post-medieval buttons dating to the 17th to 18th century. The buttons are circular and flat, with integral D-shaped drilled fastening loops on their reverses.
