A corroded but complete cast lead button of post-medieval date (Th. without loop: c. 9.1mm). The button is domed, with a flat back with central, integral iron loop of circular cross-section; no casting seam is visible. The upper surface bears patterning moulded in low relief, consisting of lines and circles around a central cross, but with obvious symmetry. Read (2005, 57ff.) dates such buttons to the 16th century.

A Post-Medieval lead cloth seal, probably dating to c. AD 1550-1800. The seal is incomplete, with only the integral rivet and an adjoining section of the disc from which it expands surviving. The surviving section of the disc depicts a design of an eagle or perhaps more likely, a griffin, advancing left, right foot in front with each talon terminating in a pellet. Dimensions: length 15.7mm; width 14.4mm; thickness 2.8mm; weight 3.13g. A similar, but not identical Italian seal can be seen at http://bagseals.org/gallery/main.php/images/main.php?g2_itemId=22861.

An incomplete Post-Medieval lead 4-disc cloth seal, dating to c. AD 1550-1800. Three of four discs survive. One disc is depicts a shield with an indented side, quartered by a triple stranded cross with a truncated probable sword in one field, the lower two quarters empty. An incomplete lead post medieval button dating to the period c. AD1600 - 1700. About half of the button and its shank are missing. The button is circular in shape with a flat back and convex front, which is decorated with cross and a large pellet in each quadrant, these abutting an outer border, all moulded in high relief.
