A corroded and incomplete cast copper-alloy post-medieval plain double-looped buckle frame. The frame is missing one of its loops after an old break at the pin bar. The surviving loop is trapezoidal, with a flat lower surface and an upper surface which is bevelled externally. This gives the frame a triangular cross-section, while the pin bar is semi-circular in section. There is a knopped protrusion at each end of the pin bar. Traces of orange corrosion product at one end of the pin bar suggest that the pin may have been made of iron. The frame has a dark-grey surface where it survive…

A corroded and incomplete cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle frame of medieval to early post-medieval date. The frame was formed of two conjoined ovals such that the sides incurve. The frame is bevelled both internally and externally on the upper surface, the latter more shallowly; the lower surface is flat. The pin bar thus has a trapezoidal cross-section. The pin is now largely missing, apart from the orange/brown corroded mass, the remnant of the iron pin. A corroded and incomplete cast copper-alloy hooked mount of post-medieval date. The mount is sub-trapezoidal in plan with a cusped upper edge. It tapers towards the hook (now missing), widening slightly just above the hook; the mount has broken as the hook begins. The mount is broadly flat with slight bevelling on its upper surface. It features two iron rivets, one towards the upper edge, the other just below the centre of the plate. Much of the upper rivet survives corroded in place. A cast lead pot mend, used to mend a broken vessel in order to lengthen the period of use after damage had occurred. It is sub-circular and slightly curved in profile, with the section above the slot slightly misaligned to that below. The vessel is also curved and c. 3.5mm thick. Its dark orange-brown colour suggests that this is a corroded iron cooking vessel, of early post-medieval date.

A square trader's token issued by William Burges of Buckinghamshire in (AD) 1670. The token depicts a turbaned man pouring coffee, flanked by the date, 1670. The reverse has five lines of Script: William / Burges in / Aili[] / his half / Peny. Other 17th century square tokens often held the value of a halfpenny. A Post-Medieval, cast, copper alloy mount. The mount has a flat plate and is slightly heart shaped with one end tapering and folding underneath to form a hook. The reverse is flat except for the hook and a protruding stud, both of which have been integrally cast. The stud is 5.1 mm high and 5.5 mm in diameter. The metal is a brownish-red colour with an irregular formation of a green patina in some places. The mount is 12.3 mm at its widest point, and 19.3 mm long; it weighs 1.97 g. A cast lead-alloy circular uni-faced token with three visible casting spruces at the cardinal points. The token has a raised design of the initial 'E' on one side, the other side is blank. It is 21.20mm in diameter, 1.85 mm thick and weighs 4.8 grams. Lead tokens were locally made and had a wide variety of uses; they are therefore hard to date precisely but those with initials are thought to be Post Medieval in date, 1500-1850 AD.
