A Medieval continental sterling imitation of a silver coin of Edward I, probably dating from 1313-1322 AD. It was struck for Gaucher of Chatillion, at the Mint of Yves. Obv. legend:+GALCh'SCOMESPORC; crowned ruler facing. Rev. legend:MON/ETA/OVA/Y.VE; long cross with three pellets in each quadrant. Mayhew Type 244.
