The seal is circular in plan and discoidal; it has been broken irregularly into two pieces, possibly from a post-discovery attempt to open the object up, which had been folded in situ. A copper-alloy French (Tournai) stock jetton imitation of Royal type, dating to the Medieval date c. 1400-1500 AD. The obverse depicts a dolphin embowed, within a granulated inner circle similar to that illustrated in Barnard (1981, p120, also Plate VII, No. 61). Unlike more common types depicting a cross fleuretty within a double-stranded quatrefoil, the reverse depicts a cross feuilly within an embowed 'arcuate' cross in the centre. A continental copy of an Edwardian penny issued by John the Blind of Luxemburg, King of Bohemia. This coin dates to after he became King of Bohemia in 1310 AD and before he relinquished his claim to the Polish throne in 1335 AD. Meyhew suggests they are relatively early in that period (1983, p103-4) probably 1310-1325 AD. They are usually fine silver (90%+) but a debased (50%) example is known of Mayhew 261. It is probably fine silver but gone brown due to being in iron rich Wealden clay (Mayhew 1983, 267-262).

Medieval or Post Medieval cast copper alloy double loop buckle with the remains of an iron plate attached. The loops are oval, with widened outer edges which are bevelled on the front and back. The strap bar is completely obscured by the iron plate which has traces of a pin slot on the back and seems to have been the strap plate. It is 29.6mm long, 24.1mm wide and 3.5mm thick; it weighs 8.25 grams. Whitehead (2003: 53) illustrates a similar buckle, no.293, which he dates to c,1350-1650 AD.

Both terminal have rectangular strips rising at right angles to the ring and then are bent out at right angles where they expand into attachment plates. Cast lead circular unifaced token. The obverse of the token is decorated with the raised initials G over GF or GE. The reverse is blank. The token is 24.8mm in diameter, 2.33mm thick and weighs 6.84 grams. Tokens with simple designs were very easy to make, had a range of uses and continued in use for a long period. The arrangement of initials in this format was common in 17th century for married couples, the upper initial indicated the surname and the lower initials the husband and wives first names, suggesting this token dates to that time.

The front is hemispherical with a central pellet at the top surrounded by an incised design of a star or sun with a cenral circle with eight rays or points projecting from it and multiple parallel lines of hatching between each ray. The arrowhead is bifacially worked and an elongated triangle in plan, with two notches in the base, between a central tang and a barb at either side. The point has broken away. One barb has also been lost, the other is small with a rounded end. The tang is relatively large and now rectangular as the end has broken away. Cast lead alloy decorated spindle whorl. The whorl is circular with a flat base and domed top, slightly flattened in the centre, and a circular hole running through the centre. The upper side is decorated with raised lines radiating out from the central hole, these are thought to help the spindle work as well as be decorative. It is 32.7 mm in diameter and 11.6 mm thick; weights 52.5 grams. Locally cast lead spindle whorls were in use from the Roman to Post Medieval period and are hard to date precisely.

The mount is T-shaped with a horizontal top bar ending in a rounded lobe at one end with a separate copper-alloy rivet through it; the other end is lost to an old break. In the groove created between the outer sides there are traces of the original pot. The pottery appears to be of sandy dark orange fabric. It is 36.8 mm by 32.6mm, 10.2 mm thick and weighs 48.07 g. Pot mends of this form are found in both Roman and Medieval periods, as a common way to repair broken pottery. The remains of the original pot seem to be Roman in date although it is too fragmentary to be completely certain.

The reverse is flat except for the hook and a protruding stud, both of which have been integrally cast. The stud is 5.1 mm high and 5.5 mm in diameter. Medieval cast copper alloy 'beehive' shaped thimble with central hole. The thimble is almost hemispherical with slightly lengthened sides. The small circular pits are arranged in an irregular spiral from the base to the top leaving a small bare tonsure with a cenral circular hole. There is also a fine incised line around the base just above the rim. An Iron Age brooch of the La Tene IBb style (400-272 BC). The brooch is cast from a single piece of copper alloy. Half of the spring and all of the pin are missing. Only two loops of the spring remain on one side of the head. The bow has a semicircular arched profile and is oval in plan with a integrally cast valley running along the centre of the front.
