A cast lead seal matrix, circular and flat with a suspension loop in the centre of the reverse. The central motif is an eight pointed star with a pellet in each section, within a grooved border. The inscription appears to read +S' R'ASEL FILL' . WILL NIChOL'- (Seal of Rasel? son or daughter of William Nichol). The first name has proved difficult to read or decipher, there being no obvious candidate ending in ...asel.
