A Medieval cast copper-alloy pedestal type seal matrix dating to the 14th century. The matrix face is sub-circular. The pedestal is faceted with six facets and thins as it rises before it widens slightly to a collar topped by a rounded terminal. Below the collar is an incised transverse groove that emphasises the collar. Above the collar there is a flattened crescent, ends upwards, within which the terminal sits. A medieval (c.1250-1400) copper alloy circular seal matrix with a pierced semi-circular lug to the reverse. To the opposite (front) face it depicts a six-pointed star, a pellet in each angle, above a crescent. Surrounding this is the inscription + S'WILL'I FIL' REINBERD which translates as Seal of William (WILLELMI) son of Reinberd. The initial cross is a cross potent. Medieval cast copper alloy vesica (oval with pointed ends) shaped seal. The seal is a flat plate with an incised design on the front and a lug on the reverse. The lug is by the top point of the seal and is semi-circular in profile with an oval hole through it. The hole has worn through at the top edge. Below the lug is a short stepped collar from which a tail runs down the centre of the seal to the bottom edge, tapering in width as it does so. Cast lead alloy pointed-oval or vesica-shaped seal matrix dating from the medieval period, that is the 13th or 14th century. The matrix is made from cast lead-alloy with a plain reverse and what looks like a broken or damaged suspension loop at the top. The obverse is very worn and scratched; the image in the centre is no longer recognisable but it may have been capital letters or may be a bird. The lozengiform matrix has a flat and plain, slightly dished lower surface with an integral semicircular suspension loop at the apex at which the inscription begins (max. H.: 8.8mm). The die features a central flower surrounded by a personal legend. The flower is of an elaborate quatrefoil form with eight petals around a central circular head. A broken and incomplete Medieval cast copper-alloy pedestal type seal matrix with a circular face. The handle has been almost entirely truncated, and the upper third of the die has been lost, both to old breaks. The central pedestal type handle appears to have been circular in section from the scar, a triangular indent on the scar is possible a casting flaw. An incomplete medieval lead personal seal matrix (AD c. 1200 - c. 1400). The seal matrix is flat and vesica (pointed-oval) shaped. The reverse has a misshapen and incomplete loop at one end and the rest is decorated with a raised design, possibly representing a fleur-de-lis. The die design consists of a central fleur-de-lis motif with an oval plain grooved border. The inscription around the edge possibly reads S' A[LI]CIE VX' hEn' (Seal of Alice wife of Henry). The matrix is damaged on one side.
