A corroded lead weight, or possible spindle whorl, of uncertain date. The object is roughly spherical, with flattened top and bottom and with a slight carination around the centre. It has a circular hole running through the centre. It is 21.7mm in diameter, 15.8mm tall with a hole 5.0mm in diameter at the base and slightly splaying open at the top; it weighs 27.72 grams. Plain spindle whorls and weights were cast locally in lead from the Roman period onwards and are hard to date precisely although most are late medieval/post medieval.

A flat circular lead weight of uncertain date, possibly Post Medieval. There is evidence of a fold across the centre and a tear in the edge at one end of the fold. There is a small square hole through the weight, slightly off ceentre. There appears to be a scratched design on both sides of the weight but this is obscured by the large number of indents, probably from damage, on both faces. The scratched designs maybe of a square on one face and lines radiating out from the hole on the other. It is now 30.8mm by 28.3mm, 3.3mm thick and it weighs 15.80grams.

Probably a Medieval or post medieval cast lead alloy cup weight from a set of nested weights, dating to c. AD 1300-1600. The weight was originally open in profile, having a circular base with the sides flaring up to a wider rim. It has been compressed and one side is now folded inwards, although the original base area remains relatively unaffected. Part of a lead alloy object, possibly the base and attachment for a handle on a large lead-tin (pewter) jug, possibly of Roman date. The piece has a sub-rectangular shape for 65 mm in length and gradually widen from 13.5 mm on the base to 20.5 mm near the top. From this point of maximum width it tapers again for 21 mm in length to a rounded, broken and worn, tip. The base is thinner and turned out at 20 degrees angle, moulded with a raised edge. Cast lead vessel repair (pot mend). It is roughly oval in plan and bullet-shaped with two irregularly shaped outer pieces of oxidised, white-patinated lead, one larger than the other, sandwiching a fragment of the original ceramic pot. The larger lead piece is slightly concave while the smaller piece is domed. The pottery has a bright orange fabric, possibly due to reheating with the mend with abundent coarse sand temper, patinated chert inclusions up to 1mm and occasional rounded ironstone suggesting a greensand derived fabric of local type . Seven cast lead vessel repairs (pot mends). All have the characteristic H-shaped section with two irregularly shaped outer sides, one larger than the other, joined by a smaller central section. None of them retain any of the original pot in the grrove created between the outer sides. Total weight 70.04 grams. Pot mends of this form are found in both Roman and Medieval periods, as a common way to repair broken pottery vessels. The lack of any vessel material left in the groove means they cannot be dated directly but they are likely to be Roman given the other material on the site.

A probable lead alloy fragment of a Post Medieval to Modern toy gun. The object is triangular in plan with curving sides and a flattened point. The point end is closed but the opposite end is open and was probably attached to the wooden section of the toy gun. Both faces have moulded decoration showing what appears to be leaves and/or flowers within a border of raised lines. There is a lobed knop projecting down from one of the sides. It is likely to be the butt from a toy gun. It measures 52.4mm in length, 26.7mm in width, 11.8mm in thickness and weighs 30.4g.

An incomplete cast lead-alloy figurine dating to the Post-Medieval period. The object is a flat figure moulded on one side and smooth on the other. It can therefore be classified as Forsyth and Egan, Type 3. The figure appears to be male, in military dress with baggy breeches and a fitted, sleeveless jerkin or waistcoat over a jacket or chemise with baggier sleeves and a plain cuff. A slightly corroded and bent post-medieval lead-alloy toy watch. The object is circular and bifacially moulded in low relief. Within a wide border is a symmetrical design of four lozenges between stylised flowerheads and ring-and-dot motifs. The sides of the lozenges are concave. The inner part of the border design touches the chapter ring which is marked with the Roman hours I-XII with pellet half-hour marks. The plain dial centre is enclosed within another pellet border.
