An incomplete Medieval silver penny of John (1199-1216) dating to AD 1207 to 1210. Short cross class 5c. Minted by Beneit in London. North (1994, 221) no. 971 and Mass (2001, 40 & plate 63)
The coin has broken (rather than been cut) in half, only one half is present, and a small piece has come off the remaining half.
