A lead disc, blank on one side and with an impression of the obverse of an VRBS ROMA Roman nummus. For similar impressed objects, see this database at: LON-8C0467, WAW-013507 and LIN-FE2DF8, which has been described as a probably metal working hoard, or maybe a forgers hoard. A suggestion by Dr. Martin Henig for LON-8C0467 was a tessera used possibly as a pass to allow entry into a military building or the Baths, for example. An alternative possiblity is as a seal, but theer are no holes for the attachment of cord.

Post Medieval copper alloy token farthing of 'A merchant of the staple of England'. This is a known type but the name and location of the issuer is unknown, 1652-1670 AD; Williamson (1891:1427), Without Names of Towns, Issuers or Initials, 92. See Thompson and Dickinson (2011, pl. 64) no. 9380 Because the issuer is uncertain the findspot is particular significant as it may help the issuing area to be narrowed down.
