Medieval copper alloy buckle frame with ornate outer edge. The frame is oval with an offset strap bar. The outer edge is widened and divided by multiple narrow rasied ribs running around the front and back with two larger rounded knops projecting out at 45 degrees at either end. The ribs are arranged one near each end and hen two groups of three ribs flanking a recessed cnetral are for the pin. An incomplete copper alloy buckle of Medieval date (AD 1250-1400). The object is a single oval framed buckle with integral plate. The frame is plain. The plate is slightly convex on the front and narrows gradually in width away form the loop to a worn, possibly broken squared off end. The plate has a circular perforation c3mm wide for the pin adjacent to the loop which retains part of the wire pin. The pin is c8mm in length and isimily bent 180 degrees though the hole. A Medieval copper alloy double looped bucke, probably dating to c. AD 1350-1650. The buckle comprises of two oval loops with a D-shaped cross section. The front of the frame is decorated with a series of regularly spaced relatively deep, obliquely angled grooves. A copper alloy pin remains around the bar. A small medieval copper alloy annular buckle, probably dating to c. AD 1200-1400. The frame is broadly circular in plan, although with a very slightly offset bar showing sings of wear from the copper alloy sheet pin. The pin survives, but has been displaced around the frame. The loop is circular in cross section with a indent on one face at one point to make a pin rest, the pin will not fit on this now, probably as it has become loose and been reattached at some point. Part of a copper alloy Post Medieval trapezoidal buckle dating to cAD1620 - 1680. Only one loop of the double loop buckle remains. The outer edge is expanded into a triangle in the centre, flanked by points at each corner. On the front of the outside edge there is an incised line running from top to bottom. The front has traces of a silvery sheen but the back is plain. The buckle measures 17.46mm in length, 11.90mm in width and weighs 1.26g.
