A Flint borer, probably Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age, c. 3300-1000 BC. Worked from a tertiary flake of very dark brown/black flint with some grey/brown patches near proximal end. No striking platform survives, with a relatively diffuse bulb of percussion although with a bulbar scar. There are three flake removal scars on the dorsal face, all seemingly blade-like flakes, with two struck from the proximal end, both terminating in hinge fractures, and a third struck at a perpendicular angle, all three have relatively pronounced ripple marks.
