A silver hammered Medieval penny of Henry V, AD1413-1422. Class F, minted at York using local dies, AD1413-1422, North, J.J. (1991:71) no.1403. Obverse shows forward facing crowned bust with a mullet to the left of the crown and probably a horribly formed/struck trefoil to the right. Obverse legend is mostly illegible and seems to have been clipped away but can be read as [...VS(double x stops)REX(double x stops)(?A...].
