A medieval/post-medieval cast lead token decorated unifacially in relief. It has been bent following old damage. It depicts a voided long cross with central pellet and large voided 'O' set at forty-five degrees in each angle.

A slightly abraded and bent lead seal matrix of medieval date (13th-14th century). The matrix is of pointed oval shape, broken at each pointed end, presumably removing any suspension loop or lug as it is otherwise flat. The die features a central elongated longitudinal lion or leopard passant, within an incised border surrounded by a personal legend. The legend reads: + S' IOh... (LII) W... (Seal of John, son of W[...]). This matrix is corroded and has been bent up at one of the tips; the sides have become crumbly.

An artefact of uncertain function consisting of a lead core capped with a sheet copper-alloy dome at one end. The main leaden element is corroded and abraded, but broadly cylindrical and is able to sit on its flat, sub-circular base. The other end is shallowly domed and covered with copper-alloy sheeting, abraded at its circumference. At its summit it appears to be perforated, although this is unclear, as is its purpose. The object may have acted as a weighted terminal to something rather than a weight in its own right. The copper alloy cap has a variable mid-green colour.

A cast lead seal matrix of medieval date (13th-14th century AD). The lozengiform matrix has a flat and plain, slightly dished lower surface with an integral semicircular suspension loop at the apex at which the inscription begins (max. H.: 8.8mm). The die features a central flower surrounded by a personal legend. The flower is of an elaborate quatrefoil form with eight petals around a central circular head. The die features a central elongated fleur-de-lis, seemingly with a long stalk, within an incised border surrounded by a personal legend. The legend reads: '+ S' : A[...]w FIL' : ThOm' ('Seal of A[ndre]w, son of Thomas'). The legend is also within an incised border. This matrix is corroded and has been bent up at one of the tips.

A corroded cast lead object - possibly a 'homemade' Roman weight. The object is broadly teardrop shaped with a rounded end. It tapers towards the other end which features a crude transverse groove, possibly for suspension. One surface is domed while the other is flat; the object has a semicircular cross-section. The surface is now a light-grey/white colour with numerous scratches and dents. This object's current mass bears no clear relationship to the Roman weight-system, but was found in the vicinity of Roman steelyard weights.

A corroded and abraded cast lead object - probably a Roman steelyard weight. The object is broadly circular in plan with a large, corroded iron loop (L.: 23.3mm) off centre on its upper surface. The weight tapers to a broadly oval base (33.2 by 25.7mm); the sides taper to the short ends, while the long sides have been squashed. The base is flat enough for the weight to stand. The surface is now a light-grey/white colour with numerous scratches, dents and areas of cracking. Given its current mass it is unclear how this weight fits into the Roman weight-system.

The object is broadly biconical in shape, as typical Roman steelyard weights were (Geake 2001, 67), although it is domed at the base and seems to lack the usual iron loops for suspension. The surface is now a light-grey/white colour with numerous scratches, dents and two significant losses to the conical half. This object now weighs slightly under eleven Roman unciae.
