The central decorative element from a circular enamelled brooch of late 10th to 11th century date (Saunderton type). The circular component is divided into a scrolling cruciform pattern with separate cells of red, blue and white glass made using a cloisonne technique set into a backing plate with integral raised sides. The rest of the brooch, catchplate and pin are missing. The brooch may have been gilded but there is no trace of gilding on this fragment.

A medieval cast copper alloy buckle with an enamelled heraldic panel on the plate. The pin is missing. The length of the frame is 25.74mm and the plate measures 18.36mm x 35.38mm. The frame is oval with a narrow offset bar and the outer edge is sloping and has a pin seating groove. The plate is rectangular and has a single rounded rivet. The heraldry may be that of the Russell family (Argent, a chevron between three cross-crosslets sable within a bordure engrailed gules) but this is not clear.
