A probable strap fitting of uncertain date, possibly Roman, c. AD 43-410. The object comprises of a flat rectangular plate of copper alloy, with a slight knop at its terminal. At the attachment end a pair of V-shaped grooves define a transverse collar, with a second corresponding pair below, just above the mid-point, helping to define a sub-circular boss. This is engraved with a lozenge containing a pellet, with the channels inlaid with niello. Body sherd from a small cup, bowl or jar with almost vertical sides. The fabric is mid orange with some fine quartz temper. The exterior is decorated with white slip interrupted by four turned parallel lines at the top and indented ovals with dignal scratches across them below. A yellow glaze over all appears brown on the inside and areas where the slip has been removed. This form of decoration is typical of South Somerset ware of the late 17th to 19th centurys altough the scratched ovals are slightly unusual.

Medieval copper alloy English jetton of the Sterling head series. Class 15, Mernick type 2d.3 / 43 dating to AD 1320 to 1335. Sterling bust facing / long cross moline with 3-pellet clusters in each angle; border has pellets between the curling ends of the cross which contain small dots. Weight is 1.36g, diameter 19.2mm, thickness 0.9mm. This is similar to Mitchener (1988:103) type 142, but has pellets rather than saltires in the reverse border.

A Medieval copper alloy double looped bucke, probably dating to c. AD 1350-1650. The buckle comprises of two oval loops with a D-shaped cross section. The front of the frame is decorated with a series of regularly spaced relatively deep, obliquely angled grooves. A copper alloy pin remains around the bar. The pin is D-shaped in cross section with a flat back and tapoers slightly to a slightly undercut point. Dimensions: length 35.7mm; width 28.7mm; thickness 2.9mm; weight.6.30g. Roman incomplete cast copper alloy developed T-shaped brooch dating to the early second century AD. The head has two short cylindrical wings, 30.1mm wide, to hold the axis bar for the hinged pin. Between the wings is a slot in which the pin would have hinged. There is corrosion surrounding this slot and visible in the ends of the wings suggesting the hinge bar and possibly the pin were of iron. The wings are undecorated.
