Description A complete post-Medieval gold finger ring. The ring has a hexagonal bezel, set with a finely faceted garnet which projects from the bezel; convex in profile. Each lateral face of the bezel is decorated with a rectangular facet, with a lower border in slight relief, with a central upwards pointed projection. The underside of the bezel is 'keeled' and faceted, with each bearing a foliate motif left reserved against a niello inlaid field. The hoop is circular in cross-section, with shoulders decorated in the same fashion. Dimensions: 22.37 mm x 6.39 mm

Description: A gold finger ring inscribed on the inner side. The ring is D shaped in cross section with flattened facets top and bottom, a convex outer face and flat inner face. The outer face is plain with some minor indents and scratches. The inner is inscribed with a posy in italic script: Gods blessing bee on thee and mee. A fragment of cast copper-alloy knife handle dated c.16th century. The fragment remains as the knife end cap or pommel with only very faint traces of the iron tang around the egde. The object is oval in shape and is decorated with incised parallel lines with a central design of chevrons or Z's between. Reference: Similar examples can be found Read (2001: p.88, no.654) which he dates to the 16th century. Date: Post Medieval. Length: 17.5mm. Width: 16.4mm. Thickness: 5.8mm. Weight: 8.06g.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy post-medieval double looped buckle dating to c.1550 to 1650. Ninety percent of one loop is missing to old breaks near the bar. The outside edge is sub-oval with knops on each outside corner and at the end of the bar, the inside edge is sub-oval. The front is bevelled both internally and externally. The pin is absent and the reverse is flat and undecorated.
