Seventeenth century traders token of Lewis Williams of Chester dating to 1667. Williamson (1889) and Dickinson (1984) catalogue a half penny of Lewis Williams of Chester but not a penny.

Copper-alloy object, probably the upper portion of a stirrup. From the front, the object is rectangular with a rounded end, decorated with four radiating linear grooves forming a scallop-shell design. The sides have an oblique step as decoration.
