Copper alloy heraldic shield-shaped horse harness pendant. The pendant itself measures 35.9mm long, 26.6mm wide and is 2.9mm thick. The suspension loop is rotated at 90 degrees to the pendant and measures 6.5mm long, 4.6mm wide and 3.7mm thick. The entire item weighs 10.78grams. The pendant has enamelled coats of arms on both sides, the coats of arms are in red and gold; made of red enamel on the original, gold coloured, brass of the pendent. A cast copper alloy horse harness pendant with enamel decoration. A shield-shaped pendant. The design is probably gules, a fesse between six martlets (3/3) or (a red enamel field with six birds (martlets) and a horizontal band (fesse) and which was probably originally gilded.) A bent and corroded copper-alloy horse harness pendant of probable 14th century date. The pendant takes the form of a spade-shield bearing a heraldic device of Or fretty gules (gold lozenges on a red background) - this appears to be the arms of the de Verdon family. Only traces of the red enamel survive and the gilding has also been lost. The pendant hanger is T-shaped and triangular in section with a split cylindrical projection at the bottom of the stem. A cast copper-alloy horse harness pendant. The pendant is in the form of a large quatrefoil with a small right-angle in each corner. In the centre is a heraldic crest, though it is somewhat difficult to describe in the absence of colour. In the centre is a shield containing a chevron between three crosses bottony/fleury or even crosslet. A cast copper-alloy Roman harness pendant of a type generally dated to the 3rd century. It is flat with a broken transverse suspension loop at the top. Below the loop it has a kite-shaped upper body with a very elongated lower point.
