A post-medieval cast copper alloy button with enamel decoration and integral shank of the 'Stuart enamel' type dated c. AD 1600-1700. The button is circular in plan with a convex front and a concave back. In cross section it is D shaped. A geometric pattern on the front face is applied in the cloisonné style but is poorly preserved. A silver penny of Henry VII ( 1485-1509) struck at the mint in York using worn / provincial dies in c1485-90. AD. In the field by the neck the T is quite squat and also badly struck - struck under the authority of Archbishop Rotherham (1480-1500). Initial mark lost - but probably Lis over sun and rose

Cast copper alloy double looped circular buckle of late medieval or post-medieval date (1450-1550). The frame of the buckle is broadly circular in plan with a cast central bar to which a sheet metal pin is fitted. One end of the pin is wrapped around the central bar; the other is tapered terminating in a blunted point. There is no evidence of the frame of a pin rest. Cast copper alloy purse bar of probable late Medieval or early Post-Medieval date (1500 - 1600). The two arms of the purse bar are sub-rectangular in plan and oval in cross section with large sub-circular terminals (knops) at either end. These terminals measure 11.5mm x 9.8mm. Both are decorated with a cast twisted design comprising of four diagonal lozenges. In the centre of the bar (where the two arms meet) is an integrally cast sub-rectangular lozenge, through which a vertical hole has been cut. Cast lead or lead alloy bi-convex decorated spindle whorl of probable Medieval date (1300 – 1650 AD). The spindle whorl is sub-circular in plan. Both faces have a cast rim around the edge and also a similar rim around the circumference of the inner hole. The central hole is broadly circular and has been cast / set slightly off centre. The diameter of the hole measures 11.3mm. The design on the upper and lower is broadly the same consisting of a series of radiating diagonal lines forming irregular panels.
