A cast copper-alloy spout possibly from a tap or a ewer of later medieval or post-medieval date. The hollow spout is tubular, curving gradually, with a transverse ridge on the upper surface, running across half of the spout. One face of the ridge has a rough edge and probably the ridge indicated where it was joined to the vessel. The copper alloy now has a light green patina interspersed with black. One half of a Post-medieval cast copper-alloy two-part sword-belt toggle-clasp dating from the 16th to 17 century. Toggle-clasps have two sections which lock together, one with an eye and the other with a toggle-bar; this artefact is the section with a toggle-bar. The piece has a main plate with a bar extending from one end on the front of which is an integral D-shaped plate which therefore sits forward of the main plate and acted as a the toggle. Three fragments of a Post Medieval copper alloy cast spherical (crotal) bell dating to c1600 - 1850. The bell would have comprised two hemispherical domes with a raised circumferential join. The upper hemisphere would have had two circular sound holes with a rectangular suspension loop projecting from the top between them. The lower hemisphere would have had a long, wide sound slit with circular sound holes at either end.

A Post Medieval copper alloy coin weight of James I (AD1603-1625). The weight is flat and square in shape. The obverse has a bust facing right with the letters I R to left, inscription to right ilegible, all within a circle of pellets. The reverse shows a crown above the numerals XI for 11 shillings. The weight measures 14.98mm x 14.72mm is 3.17mm in thickness and weighs 4.34g, 66.8grains.
Withers (2011:26) catalogues this type and suggests they are mainly British, he suggests (p.68-9) 11s would be for an Angel (71 grains in 1604-1619) or double crown (70.25grains in 1619 to 1657).…

A Post-Medieval copper alloy trade token farthing issued by Hugh Graye of Taunton, Somerset dating to 1666. Williamson Somerset 253 (Williamson, 1891, 988).
There is a slight bend upwards at one edge. The token is unusually small and may have lost part of the edge to abrasion.

Post Medieval cast one-piece lead alloy button with an integral shank dating to c 17th century. The button is circular with a convex domed front and flat back. The central pellet is encircled by an asymmetrical moulded decoration divided into quarters. Post Medieval copper alloy buckle frame dating to the period cAD1550 - 1650. The double oval looped frame has a moulded shell like knop in the centre of each loop and a small knop at each end of the narrowed strap bar. The shell shaped knops have convex curved outer edges and converge to an inner point that projects into the loop slightly. This shape is emphasised by incised lines across the knops which converge from the outer edge to the inner point.
