Post Medieval silver penny of the Commonwealth dating to AD 1649 to 1660. North (1997:206) no.2729. The coin has a worn piercing from the reverse to the obverse near the edge and probably originally circular, at 1 o'clock ont he obverse and 6 o'clock on the reverse. The top and and bottom edges have been bent forward and back to give an S-shaped profile, common on modified coins of this period. Part of the edge is also missing to an old break.

Description A complete post-Medieval gold finger ring. The ring has a hexagonal bezel, set with a finely faceted garnet which projects from the bezel; convex in profile. Each lateral face of the bezel is decorated with a rectangular facet, with a lower border in slight relief, with a central upwards pointed projection. The underside of the bezel is 'keeled' and faceted, with each bearing a foliate motif left reserved against a niello inlaid field. The hoop is circular in cross-section, with shoulders decorated in the same fashion. Dimensions: 22.37 mm x 6.39 mm

A Post-Medieval copper alloy enamelled button dating to c. AD 1640-1700. The button is circular in plan, with a convex front and concave reverse. From the centre of the reverse an integral shank expands, terminating in a now incomplete drilled loop. Traces of iron corrosion are affixed to both the loop and reverse face of the button, suggetsing the original presence of an iron chain. The front of the button is decorated with a foliate design cast in low relief, with four petals radiating out from a central hemispherical boss. Description: A gold finger ring inscribed on the inner side. The ring is D shaped in cross section with flattened facets top and bottom, a convex outer face and flat inner face. The outer face is plain with some minor indents and scratches. The inner is inscribed with a posy in italic script: Gods blessing bee on thee and mee. A collection of 64 pieces of lead shot, probably dating to c. AD 1600-1700. 21 shot are probably in the pistol category (red), 20 in the carbine (green), and 21 in the combined arquebus/carbine/small musket and large musket group (blue) with some not clearly in a group (groups as defined by Harding 2012). A Post-Medieval to Modern discoidal lead weight, probably dating to c. AD 1550-1850. The weight is discoidal (circular and flat), c. 30.9mm in diameter and 7.7mm thick. Both faces are stamped, with a "B" on one side and several other incomplete or unclear stamps and on the other, at 9 o'clock relative to the previous stamp, is the letter "P". Both stamps comprised of an incuse sub-rectangular field leaving the capital letter raised within. It weighs 54.31g, 1.91 ounces suggesting it was originally a two ounce weight.
