An incomplete post medieval lead alloy (pewter) spoon bowl that is probably mid to late 17th century in date. The bowl is broken across the outer edge and at the junction with the handle with an old break/ The bowl itself is a broad oval with its point of maximum diameter being offset closer to the handle. The remaining portion comprises the bowl and adjoining length of handle; any terminal knop to the handle is missing to an old, patinated break. An incomplete cast copper alloy spoon handle dating to the Post-Medieval period (c. AD 1450-1600). The surviving object comprises part of the of the stem of the handle and a spherical and knop close to its terminal, although the terminal itself is missing. The spoon's stem is approximately oval in cross-section although it is quite irregular from chips to its outside. This stem survives for 11.2mm before ending in a raised collar above which is a wider spherical knop. Part of the bowl from a lead-tin (pewter) spoon dating from c.1670 to the early 1700s. The bowl is oval in shape and is in a Queen Anne style with a feathered-like flower spray flanking the rat tail on the back. Only around three quarters of the bowl remains with a diagonal breakage across the width of the bowl, the stem is completely missing. It is now 68.1mm long, 49.6mm wide and weighs 28.69. Homer (1975, 44) illustrates base metal spoons with similar designs, which echo those on silver spoons of the same period, the late 17th and early 18th century.

The handle of a copper alloy (latten) Post Medieval spoon dating to the period c.AD 1550-1650. The handle ends in a seal top knop. The knop starts with a flat circular disk which tapers down to two simple balls with a moulded collar beneath. The surface of the disc is worn and has no evidence of pecked initials remaining. The knop is integral with the oval cross sectioned handle. The handle is bent and terminates in a worn break at the point where it would have attached to the bowl, now missing. An incomplete Post-Medieval copper alloy spoon, probably dating to the late 17th or 18th century. The surviving fragment comprises of the end of the spoon's handle. This is broadly piriform in shape, tapering from 12.9mm wide at its rounded shoulders to 4.1mm, where it terminates in a worn break. In profile the top edge of one face of the handle thickens pronouncedly above the widest point of the shoulders, from 1.4mm to 3.8mm, creating a lip with a concave curve below it. A late medieval to early post-medieval cast lead alloy maidenhead spoon knop. This is the decorative end of a spoon broken off the top of a spoons stem. The figure depicts the bust of a female. Folds on the side and back of the head suggest the figure is wearing a long headdress. At the base there appears to be foliate or fleur de lis projections, rising from the base part way up her torso, one at the centre of the front and one at the back. A Post-Medieval (c.1690-1715) apparently copper-alloy-covered lead-alloy spoon with a diamond shaped or 'dognose' terminal and oval bowl. It measures 190mm long, 45mm wide and 15mm in depth (the latter two measurements being at the bowl). The dognose terminal is plain and 26mm wide with rounded edges. The stem of the spoon is flat with chamfered edges, forming a sub-rectangular profile. It tapers to a rat-tail support on the back of the bowl which stretches for just under half the bowl's length.
