Medieval (late 13th to 15th centuries) composite strap end: The strap end is a sub-rectangle in plan with one end being rounded and the other having a scalloped edge. The strap end is made up of two copper alloy sheets both of each are decorated with an inscised design. One face has a standing figure, holding a vertical staff or long sword. A copper alloy artefact, probably a coin of Medieval or Post Medieval date, about AD 1200 - 1500, probably of the Crusader Kingdom of Cyprus, maybe of James II dating from the late 15th century. One face bears a cross potent with a cross in each angle (the Jerusulem cross). The peripheral legend is illegible. The other face is possibly a rampant lion. The legend is again illegible, but may end GRAIA which would fit with a sizin such as that of James II (the Bastard), AD 1463 - 1473. The coin is 18.3mm in diameter and 1.4mm thick. It weighs 1.9g. A Medieval cast copper-alloy pedestal type seal matrix dating to the 14th century. The matrix face is sub-circular. The pedestal is faceted with six facets and thins as it rises before it widens slightly to a collar topped by a rounded terminal. Below the collar is an incised transverse groove that emphasises the collar. Above the collar there is a flattened crescent, ends upwards, within which the terminal sits. An enamelled copper alloy disc or plaque, decorated with a picture of a woman's face and a incomplete border of pale blue enamel with the remains of some gilding. It is probably of Medieval date, about AD 1100 - 1300, based on the similarity of style to Limoges and Mosan champlevé enamel work of that period. Medieval copper alloy single loop buckle dating to c. 1250-1500. The frame is D-shaped with a narrowed but not offset strap bar. The pin is missing. The piece is corroded and the back has a rough finish. The buckle has a brown patina. It measures 21.24mm in length, 32.16mm in width, 3.10mm in thickness and weighs 5.34g. Egan (2007, 86) categorises this form as Type 1 and suggests they are focussed in the 13th to 14th century although may start earlier..

There are narrow raised collars between the knops and the centre. The sides are convex. The inner bar is narrowed, recessed and offset with slight knops at each end. Medieval cast copper alloy buckle frame missing its pin. The frame is D-shaped with a swollen outer edge and knops at either end of the recessed and offset strap bar. The buckle measures 16.75mm in length, 24.27mm in width, 3.87mm in thickness and weighs 2.53g. Similar buckles are illustrated in Egan (2007:87) e.g. no.481, where thery are categorised as Meols type 2 and it is suggested they date from the late 13th to early 14th centuries (ibid:88).

A Medieval copper-alloy British uniface weight for a half noble. The weight is circular and flat with a raised design on one side only. The design is of a sailing ship with fore and aft castles, central mast and ropes. There is a fleur de lis on the left of the mast and unclear lion on the right. It is 15.10mm in diameter, 2.23mm thick and weighs 2.58 grams, 39.6 grains. The metal is pitted in places, especially on the lower surface.
