Medieval cast copper alloy pedestal type seal matrix with a circular face. The matrix has a central design of a cockerel standing facing right (left on the impression) within a plain line border. The legend starts at 3 o'clock (9 o'clock on the impression) with a star and reads CROV M[E] DAI (CROW ME DAY, I crow at daybreak). Copper alloy seal matrix with faceted handle rising to a lozengiform terminal with central circular perforation. On the oval die, the central design shows a pair of clasped hands, behind which rise three sheaves of corn with a flower (?) filling both of the arms between the corn. Beneath the hands there appears to be the stems of the corn and a small crescent. Around this design there is a border of fine dots, around which is written the legend * IE SV SEL DE FID QVER LEAL This is a stock anonymous motto which probably means 'I am the seal of a faithful and loyal heart'. Copper alloy composite Medieval strap end. The strap end consists of two outer plates separated by a forked inner plate. There is a copper alloy circular rivet at the strap attachment end and a further circular rivet just above the protruding acorn-shaped terminal. The acorn end is very simple with the protruding knop and a small sub-rectangular collar. No further decoration is visible. A cast copper alloy annular disc-on-pin buckle, with a pin constriction. The buckle has a diameter measurement of 25.8mm and it is 4mm thick. There is a pin in situ and intact, through the constriction. The pin has a large oval disc in the centre of its length. The plate has a serrated milled edge, with a raised oval on the centre. The pin then extends over the other side of the buckle frame; it is 27.9mm in length. Copper-alloy object, probably the upper portion of a stirrup. From the front, the object is rectangular with a rounded end, decorated with four radiating linear grooves forming a scallop-shell design. The sides have an oblique step as decoration. The lower edge of the step on each side appears to be the broken edge of an arm which would have protruded downwards at 45° to the sides. It is composed by six globular bodies with transverse crest ribs marked on, and it has two rivet holes with traces of iron rivets in. It widens to the end where probably was a suspension loop.
