Tincommios was joint ruler of the Atrebates kingdom, firstly with his father, Commios the Younger, and later with his younger brother, Eppilus. Tincommios chose to rule the southern sections of the kingdom, which proved to be a mistake as the town of Calleva (Silchester) under his brothers rule became recognised by the Romans as the main centre of Artebatum power.
