A copper alloy pommel from a sword or dagger in the shape of a human bust dating to the later Iron Age (150-1 BC). The bust is moulded in three dimensions, with the lower edge of the shoulder line demarcated by an incised groove which runs around both sides of the object. The bust ends here, at approximately the point of the clavicle. Iron staining on the sides of the shoulder appear to be from the end of the sword rather than expansions at the sides. A fragment of a copper alloy purse bar, probably of Class A, dating to between AD 1450-1550. The object consists of the suspension loop and the central part of the bar. The central block on the bar is sub-rectangular (cuboid) with rounded lower corners. It is decorated with incised double linee inlaid with niello forming cross hatching on the front and two pairs of parallel diagonal lines on the reverse.
