A cast copper-alloy personal seal matrix of medieval date (c. 14th century AD). The matrix is of pointed oval shape, with a central longitudinal ridge on the reverse that terminates in a semi-circular suspension loop with a step down to the ridge (Max. Th.: 9.1mm). The die features a central motif surrounded by a personal legend; both are surrounded by beaded borders. The legend reads: '* S' MAThEI DE hA?CC?hE ('Seal of Matthew of ?Hacche'). Incomplete and probably Medieval lead seal matrix, probably originally circular, with a c.5mm diameter hole pierced close to one edge. It weighs 45.77g and measures 41.57x33.21x5.24mm. Its original diameter would have been circa 42mm. One side is smooth and plain while the other has the inscription [...]IMPER[...]L around the edge, with possibly a double-stranded cross at the centre (although only a very small part remains). A probable cast copper-alloy element from a knife of medieval to post-medieval date. The object is convex, sub-rectangular in plan and sub-trapezoidal in profile. The corners are truncated and slightly rounded. The highest surface features a slot in the shape of a rectangle with rounded corners (9.65 x 4.3mm). Although reminiscent of early-medieval pommels in shape the object shows no obvious means of attachment and seems therefore unlikely as a terminal. Medieval copper alloy gilt and enameled horse harness pendant and silvered pendant hanger, together measuring 55.59mm in length and weighing 15.98g. The pendant hanger is T-shaped and triangular in section with a split cylindrical projection at the bottom of the stem. The cross bar measures 19.21x9.13x2.88mm and the stem 6.04x7.95x4.15mm, excluding the cylindrical projection which is 5.92mm in diameter and 7.36mm in horizontal length.
