An incomplete cast copper alloy developed T-shaped brooch of early Roman date. Present is the head, with broken pin, and upper bow; the lower bow, including foot and catch-plate, are missing. The head is formed of flattened cylindrical wings with a central slot between them on the back of the head. The wings are 27.9mm wide, taper slightly towards the outer ends and are oval in section with flattened upper and lower faces. One wing is damaged at the end exposing the end of the iron axis bar for the hinged pin. The axis bar is held in place by a white cement at the ends of both wings…

One end of a late Roman copper alloy strip bracelet. The piece has one complete, slightly tapered terminal with a squared end and a break at the other end. It is curved in profile but less than one would expect froma bracelet suggesting it has bent out of shape. Knapped flint arrowhead, probably a lead-shaped example dating from the Early Neolithic to Early Bronze Age (4000-1000 BC). The flint is light grey on the upper part, darker towards the lower end. One edge is broken along almost the entire side, from just below the top point. A straight break across the base has removed the end. The remaining edge is unusual as it is concave below the widest point but this may be due to later chips as chipping has created a more adbrupt edge here than on the rest of the arrowhead. A flat circular lead weight of uncertain date, possibly Post Medieval. There is evidence of a fold across the centre and a tear in the edge at one end of the fold. There is a small square hole through the weight, slightly off ceentre. There appears to be a scratched design on both sides of the weight but this is obscured by the large number of indents, probably from damage, on both faces. The scratched designs maybe of a square on one face and lines radiating out from the hole on the other. It is now 30.8mm by 28.3mm, 3.3mm thick and it weighs 15.80grams.

On the disc with the integral rivet is stamped the arms of Haarlam in the Netherlands on a shield, a vertical sword with a cross pattee avove and four stars arramged two each side. A medieval copper-alloy single-looped buckle frame, incomplete in so far as it is missing its pin, but otherwise intact. The frame is oval and with an expanded outer edge. The pin bar is narrowed and offset. The sides are slightly thickened at the ends of the pin bar. The frame is bevelled from the internal edge to the external on the front; the reverse is flat. The circular component is divided into a scrolling cruciform pattern with separate cells of red, blue and white glass made using a cloisonne technique set into a backing plate with integral raised sides. The rest of the brooch, catchplate and pin are missing. The brooch may have been gilded but there is no trace of gilding on this fragment.
