Medieval cast copper alloy coin weight for a half ryal or rose noble. The weight is circular and flat with a raised design on one side only, the other side is plain. The design is of the king with sword and square topped shield standing in a ship with rectangular bow and stern and an E on a banner above the stern; there is a rose on the side of the ship. It is 16.1mm in diameter, 2.7mm thick and weighs 2.0 grams, c.31 grains. The edges are badly corrosed and chipped suggesting it originall weighed considerably more. A cast lead-alloy circular uni-faced token with three visible casting spruces at the cardinal points. The token has a raised design of the initial 'E' on one side, the other side is blank. It is 21.20mm in diameter, 1.85 mm thick and weighs 4.8 grams. Lead tokens were locally made and had a wide variety of uses; they are therefore hard to date precisely but those with initials are thought to be Post Medieval in date, 1500-1850 AD.

Medieval to Post Medieval cast lead alloy circular unifaced token (1250-1850 AD). The token has been cast with a raised design of a equal arm cross on the obverse and a flat, undecorated reverse. The token measures 15.8mm in diameter, 1.2mm thick and weighs 1.80 grams. The edges are starting to laminate and crumble away suggesting it has a higher tin content than usual. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore hard to date precisely and could be Medieval or Post Medieval in date (1250-1850 AD).

Cast lead alloy decorated spindle whorl. The whorl is circular with a flat base and domed top, slightly flattened in the centre, and a circular hole running through the centre. The upper side is decorated with raised lines radiating out from the central hole, these are thought to help the spindle work as well as be decorative. It is 32.7 mm in diameter and 11.6 mm thick; weights 52.5 grams. Locally cast lead spindle whorls were in use from the Roman to Post Medieval period and are hard to date precisely.

Post Medieval square copper alloy double sided coin weight. On the obverse is a three quarter lengh portrait of James I with the legend: I R BRI all encircled by a pellet border. On the reverse is XIs (for 11 shillings) under a crown within a plain line circular border, over stamped with a crowned I to upper left. This is a British made weight for revalued Double Crown (half unite) of James I, 2nd coinage (Withers and Withers 1995:13). It is 14.52mm square by 3.35mm thick; it weighs 4.5 grams, 70 grains. The legends on this piece appear to be nonsensical, suggesting it is an annonymous issue struck between c. 1500 and c. 1550 (see Mitchiner 1988: 377). A fragment of Roman tile with combed decoration, probably a hypocaust flue tile. The tile has breaks on two sides. Part of the third side remains and is at 90 degrees to the top; the fourth side is bevelled out at 70 degrees, a break on the back running along this edge may indicate it was originally a box tile. The combing is a five line border and crossed made by the same tooling in the centre. The oxidised orange tile has coarse sand tempering with some grog and small stone inclusions.
