A cast copper-alloy two-piece strap fitting consisting of a bar mount and a suspension loop dating to c. AD 1350 to1400. The bar mount consists of a rectangular plate from which a narrow rectangular strip projects from the bottom and is bent toward the back surface terminating in a lozenge-shaped end, which has a circular rivet in its centre. This terminal is held in place by means of an integrally-cast cylindrical mount shaft and these elements fitted together would have held the fitting to a strap.
