Part of a Post Medieval copper alloy double loop oval buckle dating from c AD1500-1650. One loop is missing at an old, worn break. The central strap bar is narrowed with a small moulded knop at either end. The pin is missing. The front of the frame has bevelled edges and the back is flat and undecorated. The piece has a brown patina. It measures 25.9mm in length,1 9.3mm in width, 2.5mm in thickness and weighs 2.94g. A small, complete Medieval to Post Medieval copper alloy double loop oval buckle dating to c. 1350 to 1650. The loops are oval with slightly expanded outer edges. The frame is D-shaped in cross section. The frame has bevelled inside and outside edges and there is a pin rest at each side of the frame. Medieval cast copper alloy buckle frame missing its pin. The frame is D-shaped with a swollen outer edge and knops at either end of the recessed and offset strap bar. The buckle measures 16.75mm in length, 24.27mm in width, 3.87mm in thickness and weighs 2.53g. Similar buckles are illustrated in Egan (2007:87) e.g. no.481, where thery are categorised as Meols type 2 and it is suggested they date from the late 13th to early 14th centuries (ibid:88).

An incomplete Roman copper alloy developed T-shaped hinged brooch probably dating to AD75 - 150. Only the wings and upper part of the bow remain. The wings are chipped at each end but nearly complete and have a pattern across the front of a single incised diagonal line about halfway along and a pair of incised lines at the end.
