An unidentified copper alloy object of possibly Post Medieval in date. The object is formed of a strip of copper alloy which has been bent into a C-shape. The strip has a D-shaped cross section, with the flat face being external. This terminates in a leaf-shaped (pointed oval) terminal, the internal face of which is convex with an integrally moulded shallow boss, whilst on the reverse of this is a circular recess, giving the external face a concave appearance. A medieval gilded and enameled copper alloy mount dating to c. AD 1150-1300. The mount is T-shaped in plan and flat in section and at its centre is a gilded engraving of the eagle of St. John. The eagle is halo'd with its head looking left and the tips of both wings pointing to the right. Additional detail has been incised into the gilding, with the outline of the eagle and its halo further defined in this fashion. A medieval lead papal bulla of Pope Boniface IX (AD 1389-1404). The object is sub-circular, with small truncations at the top and bottom at the points at which the cord would have travelled through a slot runnig edge to edge. One face bears the inscription: BOnI/FATIUS: / PP:VIIII in three lines, within a pelleted border. The 'PP' stands for 'Pastor Pastorum', translated as 'shepherd of the shepherds'. A copper alloy ring with hexagonal cross section and slightly uneven thickness and width of unknown date. The object is undecorated but has long striations around its outer face, probably from filing or wear, and with two areas of wear where the ring is thinner. Diameter: 27.4mm, width: 4.0mm, Thickness of loop from: 4.6mm, to: 3.3mm, Weight: 7.13g. Such rings are largely undatable and can be as early as Iron Age, but it is most likely a Medieval to Post-Medieval horse harness ring, possibly to link two straps given how it is worn in two places.

An incomplete lead post medieval button dating to the period c. AD1600 - 1700. About half of the button and its shank are missing. The button is circular in shape with a flat back and convex front, which is decorated with cross and a large pellet in each quadrant, these abutting an outer border, all moulded in high relief. A Bronze Age retouched flint, probably a scraper dating to the period c. 2350-800 BC. The artefact is struck off a secondary flake, as the dorsal surface retains 25%of its cortex, it is broadly triangular in cross section and ovoid in shape.
